What are some things to do in Las Vegas, besides gaming?
My husband and I are looking to go to Vegas for a week. Let to take a few days to make the "normal" Things Vegas (shows, drinking, casinos). We would like to have a couple of days to do other things in the area. Hoover Dam is the cool? In addition, all of which can be done at Lake Mead? Any other ideas would be great.
Hoover Dam and Lake Mead are very nice although the water level is down. You can enjoy strolling through the city of Boulder, which is where Lake Mead of the workers lived. There are many things to do off the Strip Las Vegas Springs Preserve Liberace Museum Test Site Museum loop and Red Rock Canyon Visitor Center Bonnie Springs Old Nevada Bonnie Springs Ranch (cowboy town) Valley of Fire (not in summer), Death Valley (NO day trip in summer) in the range of Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay Sigfried Roy's Secret Garden at the Mirage Trip to the upper stratosphere than 101 stories high, great view of the valley, especially at night, the restaurant, and three walks scarey Circus Circus Adventure Dome Forum Shops at Caesars Stores with 2 channel status sample Venetian gondola rides over the world's largest souvenir shop (cross Sahara)
