What to look for in a set of poker?

So I am looking to buy a poker set for my friend who has a steel box and the tabs are made of clay and 500, but although I know what to look not know anything about poker chips. Where can I buy a game like this for under $ 200?

Amazon.com has some decent chipsets in the $ 50 range, but they are not real clay chips. You may be able to get a good set of chips 500 in that price range.
